All Inground Fence Posts consist of Duragal-Plus SHS cut to your specific length and come complete with a Push-On Galvanised Metal Cap. Steel Duragal-Plus Fence Posts are impervious to Termites and Steel Posts will not warp, twist, split or rot like timber posts. Fence Posts Material: At Scott Metals we recommend the use of Trade Quality Heavy Duty 3 and 4mm thick Australian Made Duragal-Plus SHS in the manufacture of Steel Fence Posts. This ensures strength and structural integrity. Light Gauge Fence Posts are also available. All Posts are manufactured from Superior Duragal-Plus SHS product, it is a pre-galvanised, inside and out, steel box section. The total coating thickness of Duragal-Plus product is twice that of other pre-galvanised sections available. Should you require extra protection from the elements, then we recommend using Fully Hot Dip Galvanised option for Fence Posts. Hot Dip Galvanizing is a process where the post, after fabrication, is completely immersed in molten zinc. This thick metallic zinc coating, that completely covers the post, inside and out, provides a superior corrosion resistant finish. Lead Times: The majority of our Duragal Steel Fence Posts are fabricated and available for collection on the same day as ordered. Light Gauge Posts may require extra lead times. For Hot Dip Galvanised finished posts Extended Lead Times are required. Alternative Designs: Round, Square and Rectangular steel sections in a multitude of sizes, lengths, thicknesses and finishes, are used in producing Fence Posts. Different top and base plate configurations, side tags, cleats and holes as well as any other special requirements can be fabricated to your requirements.
