STEEL SALESPERSON ESTIMATOR (Woolloongabba, Brisbane)

Full Time Employment Position

We require an energetic, self motivated and versatile person to work within our Internal Sales Office.

You will be required to work in a team environment delivering exceptional customer service to Account Customers, Builders, Tradesmen and the General Public. This role is very hands on, requiring you to quote and take customers orders by either phone, email or fax. Create diagrams/depictions, for welders etc, of the items that need to be processed in the workshop.

Essential skills required:

  • Basic computer knowledge - Word & Excel
  • Comprehensive product knowledge of steel and building products
  • Ability to do take-offs from Architectural & Engineering Plans for pricing

Daily duties entail:

  • Taking Orders
  • Processing Orders
  • Quoting / Pricing steel and associated products
  • Simple Stock Ordering and special orders
  • Liasing with suppliers

On the job training and orientation will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role of internal salesperson. A standard 38 hour week full time pay rate applies with overtime opportunities available.

Our trading hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
and 7:30 am to 12:00noon Saturday. No Sunday trading.
