Fence Posts Material: At Scott Metals we use Trade Quality Heavy Duty 3 and 4mm thick Australian Made Supagal SHS in the manufacture of our Steel Fence Posts ensuring strength and structural integrity. Supagal SHS product is a pre-Galvanised, inside and out, grade AS1163 - C350/450L0 material. The total coating thickness of Supagal product is twice that of any other pre-Galvanised sections available. Star Pickets, see the Star Pickets page here: Star Pickets Should you require extra protection from the elements, then we recommend using Fully Hot Dip Galvanised option for Fence Posts. Hot Dip Galvanizing is a process where the post, after fabrication, is completely immersed in molten zinc. This thick metallic zinc coating, that completely covers the post, inside and out, provides a superior corrosion resistant finish. Lead Times: The majority of our Steel Fence Posts are fabricated and available for collection on the same day as ordered. For Hot Dip Galvanised finished posts please allow up to 10 working days. Alternative Designs: Round, Square and Rectangular steel sections in a multitude of sizes, lengths, thicknesses and finishes, are used in producing Fence Posts. Different top and base plate configurations, side tags, cleats and holes as well as any other special requirements may be requested. Delivery: Steel Fence Posts can be delivered Door to Door.
